Ms. Pierce's Educational Philosophies
1. I believe that students learn best when they have all of their physical, social, and emotional needs met.
2. Students fail because they lack confidence and hope for the future.
3. Students succeed because they have a strong support system behind them.
4. The most important role of the school is to support and mold the students to achieve their highest potential possible.
5. The most effective way to teach is to modify your lesson plans to fit all of your diverse learners in your class.
6. Learning should be measured by a variety of different means. It should be measured by a variety of formal and informal assessments.
7. The greatest strength I bring to teaching is my commitment, dedication, and perseverance.
